This Mini Collection brings together three beloved sweets from the Godavari region in one gift-worthy box: Sugar Pootharekulu (Paper Sweet), Pala Kova Billalu, and Mamidi Thandra. It's a lovely way to sample the range of flavours our home region is known for, all handmade by women artisans using traditional methods passed down through generations.
The Pootharekulu are wafer-thin sheets of Jaya rice, layered with pure ghee, sugar or jaggery, and a mix of Cashew, Almond, and Pistachio, so each bite dissolves almost instantly with a delicate crunch giving way to nutty sweetness. Alongside, the Pala Kova Billalu offers a dense, milky richness reminiscent of classic Rajahmundry doodh peda, while the Mamidi Thandra brings a chewy, tangy-sweet mango note that balances the collection beautifully.
